The Online NPIP Blood Tester Recertification School is designed for those who wish to be recertified in Pullorum-Typhoid blood testing. Only individuals that have previously completed an ISPA NPIP Blood Testing School in-person can register for the online recertification school.
You can recertify your Blood Tester Status in two easy steps:
Submit the registration form below - You will receive a confirmation email from the ISPA, which will contain a direct link to the Recertification Exam, including a password used to access the exam. There is no time limit when taking the exam, but your progress will not be saved if you leave the exam. We encourage you to give yourself ample time to complete the exam in one sitting.
Take the exam - When you have answered all the exam questions and have submitted it through the exam webpage, it is emailed to the ISPA for grading. Those that pass the exam will receive a new Indiana Certified Blood Tester ID Card.
We highly recommend that you spend some time reviewing the Blood Tester Recertification lessons found on the Blood Tester Manual Page. The manual contains practice test questions which will be very helpful when taking the Recertification Exam.
The Blood Tester Recertification Exam is 21 questions. You can miss up to 5 questions to pass the exam. The cost to recertify your Indiana Certified Blood Tester status is $25. You can pay by either check or credit card. Further information on how to pay will be included in the registration confirmation email. Please note that if you fail the recertification exam, you will need to pay an additional $25 to take the exam again.
